I have one of those skinny mini-closets at my desk at work, and I wanted a shelf maybe 12" up from the base of it, to separate shoes, etc. I recalled from high school (long ago) that I used a Lockermate shelf, and hey, they're still made! It was simple muscle memory installing it.
Great for my work locker. It made it look bigger and definitely organized my things including space for my work bag.
