Locker setup in ten minutes

Locker day is loud and short. Here is the order we would do it in, start to finish, with time left to find homeroom.

Minutes 1 to 3: the shelf

Put the shelf in before anything else. Unfold a Stac-A-Shelf onto the floor, or press an Adjust-A-Shelf between the walls at the height of your tallest binder plus a hand's width.

Minutes 4 to 6: the door

Mirror at eye level, dry erase board below it, storage cup where your hand lands. All magnetic, so slide them around until the door closes freely.

Minutes 7 to 9: the load

Heavy books low, light things high. Pencil box and Flexi box on the shelf, front edge, where you can grab them without unloading anything.

Minute 10: the test

Close the door, open it, close it again. If something shifts, move it now. Then write your schedule on the board and go.
